Together with Lucinda van Ewijk-Verhagen and Robert Jabroer from ZonMw (Netherlands), our new Managing Director Martin Reichstein took part in the European Week of Active & Healthy Ageing in Gdansk from 18 to 20 October 2022. The three of them presented the EURECO network in a poster presentation and informed numerous interested persons about the planned events of the network in December in The Hague and in March next year in Brussels. The event in December will focus on the intersection of the long-term care provision sector and the disability service field.
EURECO started in 2017 and is a European collaboration platform of academic researchers and service providers working on inclusive community planning and development in the perspective of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). The platform is a joint initative of EASPD (European Association of Services Providers for Persons with Disabilities), IASSIDD (International Association for the Scientific Study of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities), ZonMw and ZPE.
